The job: Senior Support Workers within Residential Care Setting - EMI residents

Our client in Aberdeen requires Senior Support Workers with a proven track record to work in a busy but friendly residential unit for elderly people who have dementia / Alzheimer's Disease.

Candidates will be expected to confirm and determine present needs, identify future goals, and desired outcomes on an ongoing basis.

Be able to facilitate the meeting of needs and goals through support and provide assistance in accessing other services and programs so that service user's personal outcomes can be realised.

You must also provide emotional support during stressful life changes.

You will have a minimum qualification of SVQ Level 3, Administering Medication and a desire to work as a Senior Support Worker with Elderly Service Users. Excellent communication skills and the desire to help service users grow to their maximum potential.

All candidates that have come to the UK within 5 years will need an overseas police check from their home country. Full referencing and Enhanced Disclosure Scotland needed.
