The ideal candidate should have:

·     Previous waiting experience

·     Knowledge of bar operation

·     Able to provide quality service

·     Good product knowledge

·     Good verbal communication skills

·     Knowledge to serve food and beverages in accordance with laid-down standards, but above all in a professional, courteous manner

·     Knowledge to take orders from customers and ensure these are given to the appropriate person to execute

·     Knowledge to be totally familiar with the composition of all menu items

·     Knowledge to change table linen as required

COOK / RELIEF HOUSEKEEPER

Our client, a well known charity organisation requires a Housekeeper with a proven track record to maintain the running of the accommodation including cooking for residents and the provision of housing related support 

Main Duties for Cook

·     To plan the menus subject to agreement with the Senior Cook and Unit Manager, in order to provide varied and interesting meals and snacks for service users and staff

·     To cater, where necessary for any special diets, consulting with service users on their preferences and providing a choice of menu

·     To incorporate and make the best use of fresh vegetables and fruit in the diet of service users

·     To maintain a check and control of food stocks and be responsible for the ordering of stores stock

·     To prepare ‘’home baking’’ to reflect the service users wishes

·     To ensure all aspects of current health and hygiene legislation are adhered to
